Walker Breaks, Weekends & Bank Holiday Info 🐾
At TLC Dog Walking, we want to ensure the best care for your dogs while also allowing our team well-deserved breaks.
Please note the following:
🐾 No One Mans the Phones or Emails on Weekends or Bank Holidays – Please ensure you book in any walks you need early. Any walks over Weekends or Bank Holidays need to be booked in by Thursday at the latest if we have availability.
🐾 No Walks on Bank Holidays – All regular walks are cancelled on bank holidays.
🐾 Weekend Walks Available at an Extra Price – Weekend bookings are available but charged at a higher rate.
🐾 Bank Holiday Walks (If Available) Are Double Time – While we do not guarantee availability, any walks arranged on a bank holiday will be charged at double time.
🐾 Dog Walker Holiday or unable to work – We try to ensure all dogs are known by at least three of our dog walkers to ensure they have plenty of cover if someone is off unexpectedly.
🐾 Christmas and New Year Holiday - We are so quiet at this time we take the opportunity to have a holiday. We do not do walks for the two weeks around Christmas and New Year. Please ask your team leader for the exact dates. As with the other breaks, if you need walks over this period they will be charged at time and half, with the exception of the Bank Holidays, please see above. Christmas Day is triple time. There is no one manning the phones or emails over this period, so please make sure you book well in advance and cancellations are not possible once we are on holiday.
